Overview

This is a 10 week course to help you get back to learning and develop your employability skills, continue to study English and maths and also try out a variety of tasters before deciding what course you would like to progress to or to help you gain a job.

Course description

This course has been designed to encourage young people to study a qualification in Employability Skills such as CV writing, job searching, communication skills, and team building. You will develop English and maths skills and also try out a variety of taster sessions.

Subjects at Hall Green campus might include Health & Social Care, Childcare, Travel & Tourism, Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Science, Business and IT. This is to help you decide which course you would like to continue to study full time and to give advice and guidance on your best progression routes. There will also be the opportunity to discuss Apprenticeships or other employment opportunities.
