The Business BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Business is a two-year course that provides you with insight into the business sector and provides realistic examples of where the theory learned can and should be applied. It covers various aspects of business theory; 3 units will be studied in the first year and 3 units in the second. In the new business qualification you will be assessed by both internal coursework and external exams. Students who successfully pass all units in year one will be able to progress to year two.

You will need 5 GCSE Grades 4-9, including English and maths. Other subjects that combine well with business are law, English, photography, politics and film studies.
You can progress onto a higher education course at the college such as a HND/HNC, or university. You may want to consider an Apprenticeship or seek employment within the sector.
