What are the entry requirements?

With this qualification, we are looking for a learner that can demonstrate good mechanical comprehension, mechanical ability, and the willingness to learn. A good, basic understanding of the technology involved in the modern light vehicle is ideal. Have completed and passed your level 1 diploma. With this, we also expect to see learners with GCSE grades 4 and above in Maths and English or a Functional skills in both of these at Level 2 or above.

Learners are expected to work towards a Grade 5 or Level 3 Functional Skills during this course to best prepare them for progressing to the full level 3 Diploma.

Don't worry, we have other motor vehicle provisions for learners that don't quite make the entry requirements at other campuses.
